To disperse them evenly in the paint, several steps like e.g. milling are required, using up a lot of energy as well as water and time. SOLUTION A new series of organic pigments which are easily dispersible in water the EDW pigments EDW pigments have a modified surface treated with special additives to avoid clumping. They can easily be dispersed with a dissolver without the milling step in a shorter time. EDW pigments improve the eco footprint of paint manufacture.
