SIGMA Engineering GmbH Company  |  Products  |  News  |  Contact Us SIGMA-elastomer SIGMASOFT? for the Process Simulation of Elastomer Parts SIGMASOFT-elastomer is a complex tool for the producer of elastomer parts and moulds helping to improve tool quality and performance, to reduce cost, and to optimize the process. The program is used to simulate the filling, heating, and holding phase of elastomer parts considering the real thermal and fluidic processes in the elastomer part and in the tool. SIGMASOFT? is a modular program with the following structure: Common user interface for all modules Project administration Geometry generation with CAD data transfer Fully automated mesh generation in three dimensional volume elements Process description and calculation (filling and cooling phase) Presentation and evaluation of results Module for the management of physical material data General: All modules are integrated into one common user interface Display of the current calculation progress Temperatures, scorch index, and curing in the elastomer part are displayed during calculation already Dump and restart facility of the calculation at any time during filling phase as well as during heating phase Praxis relevant information for the operational organization like shot weight and projected area The current process conditions are recorded and saved to a file Comprehensive help menus and online documentation Each module can be individually started depending on the number of installed user licenses Activation of the user license via license key Related Products MuCell® Molding Technology Trexel, Inc.
